Kate Middleton steps out in festive green Emilia Wickstead dress for NATO reception alongside Donald and Melania Trump

The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out last night donning a festive green midi dress by Emilia Wickstead.

The dress, which is still available to buy, is made of crepe material and retails for £965.

This is the second time in a month the Duchess has opted for an ensemble by the New Zealand based designer: at the beginning of November, she also opted for a blue dress by Wickstead to attend the launch of the National Emergencies Trust.

New Zealand-born Emilia Wickstead, who founded her eponymous label in 2008, has become something of a go-to for the 37-year-old royal, who often opts for the designer’s structured yet feminine designs.

The 37-year-old Duchess kept her hair loose and natural, and similarly her make-up dewy and radiant.

Earlier in the week, the Duchess made an appearance alongside her husband Prince William to film a TV Christmas special for the BBC, where she opted for another festive dress, this time by Alessandra Rich.

Last evening’s event was to mark 70 years of the NATO alliance, attended by notable figures including the Queen, Prince Charles and Camilla, President Trump and Melania Trump and Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, among others.
