Kate Middleton in Pakistan: Duchess wears black and white shalwar kameez on final day of royal tour

Kate Middleton left Lahore airport with her husband Prince William this morning looking elegant and understated in a beautiful monochrome ensemble.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had been forced to stay an extra night in Lahore after an electrical storm yesterday meant their plane was not able to land in Islamabad.

Taking to the skies once again today, the couple will fly to the capital to conclude their four-day royal tour of Pakistan.

Throughout the tour, Kate has chosen to wear a series of shalwar kameez, the national dress of Pakistan.

Today’s was an elegant white chiffon version, with fluted sleeves and black embroidery on the longline tunic.

Kate paired the look with a nude suede pointed court shoe and a large black leather holdall bag. An elegant last look to cap off what has been a wonderfully chic and well considered tour wardrobe.

William and Kate will undertake a short engagement in Islamabad later today before flying back to the UK following their hugely successful five-day official trip on behalf of the British Government.
