Kate Middleton: Duchess always carries these four things in her handbag when she travels

Kate Middleton is now well-used to life in the Royal Family and has three children with Prince William, the future King. Both with her husband and alone, the Duchess of Cambridge has enjoyed much foreign travel in her role. Her trips abroad are always well-documented, with close attention paid to Kate’s look.

Moody explained that there are four key belongings Kate pops into her bag.

The author detailed: “In her small clutch she carries a compact mirror, blotting paper, a handkerchief and lip balm.”

Sometimes when she travels Kate also takes another very important item.

This is a camera, as the Duchess is well known for her love of photography.

DON’T MISS

Writing about Kate’s first ever royal tour with William, to Canada in June 2011, Moody wrote in her book: “Since she has always been a keen photographer, she took her own Canon camera to snap some personal images.”

When Kate travels she often uses luggage from baggage brand Globe-Trotter.

Globe-Trotter is known for its classic leather travel cases.

The Queen chose the brand for her honeymoon luggage in 1947 and has stayed loyal to Globe-Trotter ever since – as, it seems, have the rest of the royals.

Kate will also use a particular luggage tag to make sure it’s clear which bags belong to her.

The mother-of-three will always have a yellow luggage tag on her suitcases when she goes away.

The Queen, 93, also has a yellow luggage tag. The monarch’s tags simply read “The Queen” in capital letters while Kate’s say “HRH The Duchess of Cambridge.”

Meanwhile, Prince William has a red luggage tag with his name on it to identify his suitcases.
