If you’re obsessed with Netflix’s new documentary Tiger King then you’re in luck – as the story is going to be continued in a new limited TV series, where Saturday Night Live star Kate McKinnon will play Carole Baskin.

Tiger King – which has been hailed as ‘the most disturbing documentary ever’ – follows big cat enthusiast Joe ‘Exotic’ Schreibvogel and his rivalry with Carole, the owner of an organisation looking to close Joe’s zoo and take his animals away.

According to TV Line, McKinnon will both front and executive produce a live-action adaption of the real-life events, which is in the works over at Universal Content Productions.

Despite first being announced, last year, there’s no doubt that Tiger King’s success on Netflix will definitely propel this new series forward.

We can’t wait to see Kate rocking all kinds of animal print, to be honest.

The main narrative of the documentary revolved around Joe Exotic and Carole’s rivalry. Joe was even sent to jail for 22-years after being convicted of attempting to hire someone to kill her.

Currently serving 22 years in prison, Joe is maintaining his innocence and is currently fighting his conviction.

Carole has also recently hit the headlines after none other than Kim Kardashian West tweeted about her after watching the doc – and KKW had a lot of questions.

But the case of Carole’s missing first husband, Jack ‘Don’ Lewis, who was declared legally dead in 2002, is the thing that got her stumped.

Kim later added: ‘Wow the amount of texts I’ve gotten about Tiger King since I tweeted about it all have mentioned their belief that Carol killed her husband!

‘What are your thoughts? Do you think Carol killed him? (Sic)’

Carole has adamantly denied any and all involvement of Don’s disappearance, who went missing in 1997 after ‘going away to Costa Rica’ and never returning.

After the documentary dropped, the animal rights activist for its ‘inaccuracies.’
