Hollywood has ground to a standstill as the coronavirus pandemic sweeps the United States and the world at large.

And Kate Hudson appeared to make the most of her down time, with the Academy Award nominated actress stepping out for a stroll around California‘s Pacific Palisades on Friday.

The 40-year-old Almost Famous star covered up in a large straw sun hat for the leisurely walk around her neighborhood.

The mother-of-three went for an all-white ensemble for the afternoon amble, pairing an off-white sweater with loose, white linen pants. 

She also wore sandals on her feet. 

Hudson shielded her eyes with a pair of mirrored shades.

Meanwhile the large hat covered her wavy blonde tresses, and she carried her iPhone in one hand.

The Bride Wars actress was an early proponent for social distancing and other coronavirus prevention methods.

On February 25, Hudson took to her Instagram to share a selfie of herself donning a face mask while on an airplane.

Kate wrote an emotional thank you post last week directed at those in the medical field working day in and day out since the outbreak.

‘Save lives, stay home! Thank you to all the healthcare workers that are and will be working tirelessly. We love you,’ captioned the compassionate star.

Kate is the daughter of Hollywood actress Goldie Hawn, 74, who has been with her fellow movie star beau Kurt Russell, 69, for over three decades.
