Kate Garraway is left ‘sick with worry’ as her husband Derek Draper battles coronavirus in intensive care while she isolates at home with their children after displaying mild symptoms

Kate Garraway’s husband Derek Draper is in intensive care with coronavirus. 

The GMB presenter, 52, has been left ‘sick with worry’ and is self-isolating at home with their two children after displaying mild symptoms. 

Former Blair adviser Derek, 52, was rushed to hospital on Monday where he was tested positive for coronavirus. 

Kate shared a video of herself clapping for the NHS on Thursday night where she said her family had an ‘extra special reason’ to clap for carers.
