It looks like poor Kate Garraway has been trolled by her Good Morning Britain colleagues.

Either that, or they really don’t understand sizing.

The 52-year-old cracked up her followers as she showed off her special Christmas Day tights – which appeared to be made to fit a small child.

The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! campmate shared a video to Instagram, in which she showed off her Christmas Day outfit, which consisted of a novelty reindeer jumper and a pleated skirt.

Kate said: ‘Thought I had planned my Christmas Day outfit perfectly. Got my lovely sparkly Christmas jumper on, got my sparkly gold skirt, got a matching red blouse.

‘And then, GMB gave me some Christmas tights. Thought how perfect. Except look at this…’

Kate pulled up her skirt to show that the cute penguin patterned tights only reached her knees, and were clearly for kids.

Awkward.

She joked: ‘Haven’t lost that much weight in the jungle. I haven’t actually shrunk. Never mind, thought that counts.’

Her I’m A Celeb pal Myles Stephenson was tickled, as he left a string of laughing emojis, while others wished Kate a merry Christmas.

Perhaps the teeny tights were payback for Kate missing her first day back at work after the jungle.

The star was mortified after she slept through her call time, forcing Ranvir Singh to take her place on GMB.

Calling into the ITV show, Kate said: ‘Listen, I’m going to get fired! I can’t believe I’ve done this!’

Showing off that she had her hair blow-dried and her makeup on from the previous night, she explained that she had been prepping for the appearance for hours, before nodding off.

‘I fell asleep and the next thing I know it’s like 20 minutes ago,’ she fumed. ‘I’ve never done this before in 20 years.

‘This is my first show back, I don’t know what I’m going to do! I can’t believe I slept from 6pm all the way until now. I’ve got six alarm clocks and didn’t set any of them.

‘Oh God, I’m so sorry, please don’t fire me!’

Thankfully, ITV producers sent a message through to Ranvir to let Kate know her job is definitely safe.
