Kate Garraway: Michelle Visage queries GMB host's appearance on I’m A Celebrity

Strictly Come Dancing star Michelle Visage, 51, queried how I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star Kate Garraway, 52, has managed to keep her hair “flawless” in the jungle with a lack of facilities. In view of her 544,000 followers, she wrote: “How does @kategarraway have flawless hair all of the time in the jungle? #ImACeleb.”

A representative for Kate, who is managing her official Twitter account while, joked that it is her use of knickers keeping her hair fresh.

They shared pictures of the presenter wearing red knickers over her head in a bid to keep creepy crawlies off of her.

The tweet read: ”@michellevisage this is Kate’s hair secret… knicker hats! #TheJoyOfBigKnickers.”

Many of Michelle’s fans flocked to her post to share their thoughts.

One user wrote: “Her face is literally perfect too??? Must be the magic concealer.”

“I have no idea but I need to know her secrets,” a second commented, while a third added: “Because she’s a Goddess.”

Earlier this week, Kate was awarded her luxury item, her concealer, in the challenge titled Put Your Oar In It.

Her campmate Adele Roberts also received her personal item; a picture of Jane McDonald, which baffled her co-stars.

The host, who has two children Darcey, 13, and 10-year-old son Bill, with her husband Derek Draper said her family were keen for her to take part.

She said: “Darcey really got into the last couple of series and kept saying: ‘You should so do this Mum,’ and things like: ‘You should eat that slug from the garden, or jump off of that wall, to practise,’ It’s been a war of attrition.”

Kate went on to insist that her ITV co-stars including Ben Shephard also urged her to take part.

She added: “I do think Ben Shephard is going to be beyond delighted when he finds out as for years he has said ‘OMG I’d love to see you on the show.’

“You are just so hilarious and I think you will be good.’ He thinks I will be incredibly useless and I know he will have great pleasure seeing me squirm.”

During her stint, Piers Morgan also insisted Kate had called him for advice ahead of signing up.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, he said: “Kate rang me three weeks ago when she first got approached and I said she should absolutely do it.

“People will love her, she will be hardworking.”

“She was genuinely in two minds because if you get bounced out straight away it can be quite humiliating.”

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
