Kate Garraway, 53, has kept the nation updated with her 53-year-old husband’s health battle as she continues her role presenting as part of Good Morning Britain. Earlier this week, she described life at home with their two children Darcey, 14, and William, 11, in an endearing Instagram post.
“I salute you all. Much love and wishing for a very happy ending for you all xxxx,” said a third.Others shared their own experiences homeschooling their children, with one writing: “My daughter had her online lesson switched on her laptop and was sitting ready, or so I thought.
“I went into her room 10 mins later and she’d got back into bed and was nodding off, with the lesson still going and the teacher was asking questions!!”
Last month, Kate announced she would be documenting Derek’s story in a new book called The Power of Hope.
