Karim Zeroual gets perfect tens as he opens tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing final


KARIM Zeroual got perfect tens as he opened tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing final this evening.

The presenter, 26, and his partner Amy Dowden performed a quickstep, which was the judges’ choice.

Explaining their choice of dance, head judge Shirley Ballas said: “This is by far one of the best quicksteps I’ve ever seen.”

And his efforts paid off as he ended up getting the first forty of the evening.

The Strictly Come Dancing grand final and will see Kelvin Fletcher, Karim Zeroual and Emma Barton competing for the Glitterball trophy.

The three couples will each perform three dances during the finale – a judges’ pick dance, their own favourite routine from the series and a new showdance.

Karim previously revealed he been so consumed by nerves during Strictly that he is often “shaking like a leaf” before he takes to the dancefloor.

Discussing the biggest challenges of taking part in the show, he said: “The nerves can be quite hard to deal with, it doesn’t really get easier.

“It’s the best feeling once you’re out there and when it’s done but when we walk up the stairs I’m shaking like a leaf.

“That doesn’t get easier, if anything it gets harder, so that is something that I’ve really struggled with, I’m probably one of the most nervous before I dance and I just try and hide it very well.”
