Strictly Come Dancing professional Karen Hauer, 38, is living with her boyfriend David Webb following her split from Kevin Clifton in 2018. The Latin champion discussed her life in lockdown and admitted it’s “definitely been hard.”
The Strictly star spoke candidly about being holed up at home amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Karen revealed she stared at her cookie cabinet for over an hour before breaking down in tears.
Speaking to hosts Joanna Chimonides and Stephen Leng on Access All Areas on FUBAR Radio, the Strictly star revealed the reason why she got emotional.
Karen explained: “I stared at my cookie cabinet for about an hour and I just stood there.

The dancer’s comments come after she recently revealed how the pair have been keeping occupied during the current lockdown, which she admits she found difficult to adjust to at first.
She told The Mirror: “I usually have my routine set for me, whether Strictly’s being filmed or I’m on tour, so it was hard at first to adjust and find a new structure and focus to keep me going throughout the day.
“I never get to have that much time at home because of my work schedule, so spending time with David and our three dogs has been quite a good thing.
“I’m staying busy, staying positive and taking it day by day.”
Karen went on to say that the pair have been trying to stay occupied for the sake of their physical and mental health.
“One of the main things that we’re trying to do is exercise and stick to a plan that fulfils us physically and mentally,” she divulged.
“Thanks to the internet, you just need access to Instagram, Facebook or YouTube and there are so many cardio workouts to choose from.”
