Karen Hauer caused a stir today when she confirmed an exciting project that is very different to her role on Strictly Come Dancing. The professional dancer admitted it was something she had wanted to do for a “very long time”.
The 37-year-old took to Instagram and Twitter to confirm a fitness role, with a number of her co-stars quickly responding.
Kevin Clifton’s ex shared a video of her exercising at home, including everything from aerobic-style moves to, of course, dancing.
She captioned the clip: “If you’ve followed me for a while you’ll know how much I love fitness and how working out makes me feel both inside and out…
“So I’m really excited to announce that something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time is now LIVE…”(sic)
Karen continued: “Say hello to my eight-week Hauer Power fitness plan. Click the link in my bio to download the plan for just £15, and let’s sweat together in 2020!
“It’s designed for people with limited time who want to get fit, strong, toned and have loads of fun along the way!”
2019 Strictly contestant Emma Barton was one of the first to reply, writing simply: “Yes!!!!”
Then her fellow pro Johannes Radebe, who was this year partnered with Catherine Tyldesley, gushed: “Power.”
She stated: “I’ve always wanted to be able to do a headstand and I was afraid to try it, because I thought I’d either not do it right or fall over.
“And you know what, I did fall over and I did get it wrong, but I also persevered with it and I’m pretty happy with what I can do now and hopefully next year I’ll be even happier with how it looks.”
Karen then said: “So maybe come 2020 you set yourself a goal and keep at it and who knows where it will take you but whatever happens, remember to enjoy the journey. K x #hauerpower #motivation #perserverance #longevity.”
The couple were holidaying on the Caribbean island of Saint Martin at the time, which gave her plenty of opportunities to showcase her incredible figure.
In not one but three shots, the beauty was seen in a tiny black bikini, that highlighted her super toned stomach.
She paddled in the sea in the two-piece, which she teamed with a baseball cap emblazoned with the word “slay”.
But she did post yesterday: “Merry Christmas from us to you all. Eat all the chicken and have lots of fun with your friends and families,” alongside an image of her and David beaming on the beach.
The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special is available on BBC iPlayer now.
