Kanye ‘Ye’ West shares bizarre Instagram post after he’s accused of punching fan in face outside of LA club

Kanye ‘Ye’ West took to Instagram Thursday with a bizarre post, on the heels of an incident in which he was accused of punching a fan outside of a downtown Los Angeles club.

‘MY LIFE WAS NEVER EAZY,’ West, 44, captioned the image, which appeared to an artistic interpretation of an animal with a skinned face and body set against a red background.

West tagged into the post fellow musical artist The Game, 42, who had the image set as his main picture on Thursday evening.

The incident involving West was under investigation by police in Los Angeles, as the rapper was accused of pushing and punching a fan seeking an autograph at about 3 a.m. Thursday near Soho West, a trendy club in downtown Los Angeles.

Witnesses told TMZ that West hit the fan in the head and in the neck, and the person’s head struck the ground with impact.

West was seen in a clip on TMZ arguing with a person, at one point saying, ‘Did y’all say that or not? Did y’all say that or not? Cause that’s what happened right … now.’

In the clip on the site, West was telling a woman to ‘get away from me,’ to which the woman – who a source told TMZ is his cousin – responded, ‘I am your family.’

The alleged victim did not seek medical treatment in the incident, according to TMZ, but later sought care at an urgent care facility.

West had been at a recording studio in Hollywood prior to the incident, the outlet reported.

West had vacated the area where the incident took place prior to police showing up, authorities told the Los Angeles Times

Police told the outlet that the occurrence is being probed as a misdemeanor battery, which has a maximum jail sentence of six months. The Los Angeles city attorney’s office will review findings of police in the incident.

West remains in divorce proceedings with estranged wife Kim Kardashian, who last month asked a court that she be declared legally single. The reality star, 41, has been linked with SNL star Pete Davidson, 28, in the wake of her split with West.
