Kanye West isn’t done with the Twitter announcements as the rapper just confirmed he has a new album on the way.
The hitmaker is going to release a new album titled God’s Country at some point this year.
And fans will get their first taste of this project when he drops the first single Wash Us In The Blood.
Both titles pretty much confirm that Ye is still keeping things gospel and faith-focused as he did with his previous project, Jesus Is King.
On Twitter, Ye stated that his new single will arrive today (June 29) alongside visuals from cinematographer and video artist Arthur Jafa.
Seeing as Kanye doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to releasing music on time, fans are tentatively excited to hear the new single.
It comes after Kanye signed a 10-year deal for a new clothing line with Gap.
The 43-year-old rapper will launch Yeezy Gap, a new apparel line for men, women and children, with the American retailer next year.
Kanye tweeted: ‘YEEZY AND GAP FORM PARTNERSHIP #WESTDAYEVER.’
While his Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian West added: ‘If anyone knows Kanye they know how much the Gap and Yeezy means to him so this partnership is his dream come true!
‘I am so proud of him. You guys are going to love what they have in store for everyone! #WestDayEver (sic).’
According to the New York Times, the deal is for 10 years with an option to renew after five.
As a teen, Kanye worked in a Gap store in Chicago and admitted he couldn’t afford the clothes when he worked there.
While the star previously spoke of his desire to be the ‘Steve Jobs of Gap.’
