Kanye West is still in the presidential race, after announcing his bizarre campaign over the summer.

But the 21-time Grammy winner is continuing to keep cordial with his friend-turned-political opponent President Donald Trump.

He sent his condolences to the Commander In Chief and First Lady Melania Trump on Saturday, as they recover from COVID-19 following the announcement of their diagnoses Thursday night.

The 43-year-old wrote on Twitter: ‘There’s a crying need for civility across the board. We need to and will come together in the name of Jesus.

‘I’m praying for President Trump’s and Melania’s full recovery, just as I would for Joe and Jill Biden if they were stricken, as well as everyone else with COVID-19.’

It comes after he found his way onto the California presidential ballot as a vice presidential candidate for the American Independent Party, according to TMZ.

The far-right political party in the United States that was established in 1967 and is best known for its nomination of segregationist and former Governor George Wallace of Alabama in the 1968 presidential election.

The news came as mail-in ballots are shipped out across the state, a month away from the November 3 election date.

After filing the proper documents, Kanye named spiritual coach Michelle Tidball as his Birthday Party running mate, though Tidball has never come forward to accept the job.

According to TMZ, Kanye’s surprise vice president bid may have been done without his consent, similar to that of Tidball.

It’s been an uphill battle for Kanye, who’s still angling for the presidential seat through his own ‘Birthday Party,’ qualifying for ballot access in only 12 other states.

Kanye announced his bid for president on Fourth of July, tweeting: ‘We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States Flag of United States! #2020VISION’

He later gave an interview to Forbes, detailing his bizarre stances on certain issues, while he remains uninformed on others.

The Jesus Is King artist compared his vision for America to the fictional Wakanda, while doubting vaccines, revealing a plan to take the NBA global and denouncing abortion and Black History Month.

Meanwhile, he admitted that he hadn’t done any research on foreign policy or taxes.

He also addressed accusations that he’s only running as a publicity stunt or an attempt to split the vote in Trump’s favor.

Kanye said: ‘That is a form of racism and white supremacy and white control to say that all Black people need to be Democrat and to assume that me running is me splitting the vote. All of that information is being charged up on social media platforms by Democrats.’

The Stronger artist previously implied he was voting for Trump, telling GQ in April: ‘No, I’m definitely voting this time. And we know who I’m voting on.

‘And I’m not going to be told by the people around me and the people that have their agenda that my career is going to be over.’

He later admitted in his Forbes interview that his last-minute presidential bid was meant to split the vote in favor of Trump: ‘I’m not denying it, I just told you. To say that the Black vote is Democratic is a form of racism and white supremacy.’
