Kanye West is showing no signs of slowing down when it comes to him running for US President.

The rapper, 43, was seen giving his first presidential campaign rally in South Carolina recently and he’s already submitted paperwork to be on the ballot in his hometown of Illinois, New Jersey, Oklahoma and Missouri.

Now, it’s reported Kanye is hoping to do the same for New York and West Virginia next and he’s hired a ‘crack team of political advisors’ to spearhead his campaign efforts.

TMZ reports that as well as political advisors, Kanye has recruited volunteers and contracted third-party organisations to bolster his campaign efforts across the US.

Sources close to Kanye tell TMZ … Yeezy’s hired a crack team of political advisors and people with experience to help him navigate how to get on the ballot in more states.

Their focus at the moment is to get the Stronger hit-maker on the ballot in each of the remaining states, with Kanye – who is in need of 7,144 signatures in West Virginia – sending out volunteers canvassing for signatures and campaign staff to ensure he qualifies for the ballot before upcoming deadlines.

Kanye is hoping to run in the 2020 presidential elections and recently confirmed that he is still going ahead with his campaign, despite leaving friends, family and fans concerned lately.

The artist broke down during his rally in South Carolina, after making several public revelations in his speech, including his claims that he and wife Kim considered aborting their eldest daughter North.

He accused wife Kim of trying to ‘lock him up’ and compared his life to the movie Get Out, before then sharing a worrying rant on Twitter, where he claimed he has been trying to divorce wife of six years Kim for the last two years.

Kim then spoke out about Kanye’s behaviour and mental health and acknowledged he was going through a bi-polar episode.

Standing by Kanye, she called him a ‘brilliant but complicated person’ in a lengthy message that read: ‘As many of you know, Kanye has bipolar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how complicated and painful it is to understand. I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health.

‘Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behaviour know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor. People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgemental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try.’

Kanye later publicly apologised to Kim and asked for her forgiveness, with the couple seen having an emotional reunion in Wyoming – after he was reportedly ‘refusing’ to see Kim.
