Hallelujah! Kanye West fans might finally be able to exhale after the star reveals the release date for new album, Jesus Is King.

Lovers of the Yeezus hitmaker’s music have been waiting with bated breath for the rapper’s new project, ever since it missed it’s original release date of September 27.

But now Kanye has reportedly revealed that the faith inspired album will be dropping on October 25 after getting it just right for his fans.

According to Forbes, the 42-year-old announced the much awaited release date at the Jesus Is King: A Kanye West Experience event at George Washington University.

Explaining the hold up, Ye told fans that the delay was because he was ‘making it better for ya’ll.’

While no Kanye news is ever official until the Sunday Service leader announces it on his Twitter page, October 25 is looking pretty likely considering it’s also the release date of his IMAX film of the same title.

The hip hop artist, who recently converted to Christianity, gave attendees of the Jesus Is King: A Kanye West Experience an exclusive look at the film which captures West’s Sunday Services in action.

Filmed in part at the Roden Crater – a large-scale artwork created within a volcanic cinder cone in the painted desert region of Northern Arizona – Ye’s documentary features gospel songs arranged by West alongside some new tracks from his upcoming album.

Back in September, wife Kim Kardashian West revealed the album’s track list which featured 12 songs with Christian-themed titles set originally to be released on September 27.

But while the album never arrived back then, Ye did reportedly play tracks ‘Water’ and ‘Selah’ for his awaiting audience.

Kanye’s upcoming album isn’t the first time that the rapper has combined his faith and music, with the star reaching the number 11 spot on the Billboard charts with his hit Jesus Walks in 2004.

The star’s Ode to Christianity was even demonstrated in the naming of his forth child with wife Kim called Psalm –  a famous book in the bible.

Speaking to the crowd at George Washington University’s Lisner Auditorium, he said: ‘I want to let you know that I am not here for your entertainment this afternoon.

‘We are here to spread the gospel.’

Speaking of his conversion to the faith, the music artist continued: ‘Excuse me if I mispronounce anything. I am a recent convert. It means I recently got saved within the year.’
