Kanye West was spotted in a bizarre new get up and, no, it’s not a test run for the new season of Yeezys.

The Follow God rapper was wearing a baggy silver ensemble with silver face paint covering his entire head.

What was he becoming? A spoon? Tin man? Silver surfer?

He was also covered with a silver one-piece that covered his entire body and made sure to paint his hands as well.

It turns out the star – who is married to Kim Kardashian – was in Miami for his new opera Mary and this was part of the costumes.

If you’re wondering what kind of footwear he rocked, look no further, as Kanye even wore matching silver socks and silver Yeezy slides.

The bizarre event was held at Miami Marine Stadium on Sunday afternoon on the final day of Art Basel.

Kanye promoted his new opera on Twitter to his 29.4 million followers.

Mary was directed by Nicole Beecroft and had music by the Sunday Service choir.

His tweet also included a bible verse Luke 1:30-31, which read: ‘And the angel said unto her, fear not, Mary: For thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.’

Mary isn’t his first rodeo, as his first opera, Nebuchadnezzar, earned himself several great reviews.

As a changed man, Kanye has been encouraging traditional values in his house.

He recently attempted to get Kim and her sisters onto a brand new game: the dictionary.

On an episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians, the rapper shared the inventive game he created to keep the Kardashians away from their phones.

‘Kanye always wants people to be more positive,’ Kim explained of her husband of five years. ‘So he came up with this little dictionary game. We pick a page in the dictionary and everyone has to undermine the positive words.’

Seeming determined to prove that this somehow wasn’t a joke, the family then took part in the game, which looked about as interesting as you’d imagine.

‘Did anyone highlight “barrel”?’ Kim asked her siblings and husband, trying out the words ‘barter’ and ‘basic’ to more success.

Nothing screams positive reinforcement like the word ‘barrel’.
