Kamala Harris has a cheeky response to Maya Rudolph's 'Saturday Night Live' impression

That girl who also saw Maya Rudolph’s “Saturday Night Live” impression of her? That girl was Kamala Harris.

The California senator may be busy running to become the Democratic presidential nominee for 2020, but that didn’t stop her from catching comedian Maya Rudolph’s impression of her on the Season 45 premiere of “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend.

In the sketch, Rudolph’s Harris, who at one point slipped on shades and sipped on a frozen drink, described herself as a “smooth talkin’ lady lawyer” and a “walkin,’ talkin’ TNT show” who is “America’s cool aunt. A fun aunt, I call that a ‘funt.’ “

What kind of funt, no one asked? “The kind of funt that will give you weed, but then arrest you for having weed.”

Rudolph also echoed one of the candidate’s most memorable lines from the first round of Democratic primary debates, when Harris confronted Joe Biden.

“Now, Erin,” Rudolph said when Cecily Strong introduced her during the sketch. “That little girl you just introduced? That little girl was me.”

The joke seems to have gone over well with Harris, who echoed it in a tweet on Sunday.

“That girl being played by @MayaRudolph on @nbcsnl?” she wrote. “That girl was me.”

Rudolph, an “SNL” alum, expressed gratitude for the senator’s acknowledgement on Twitter.

“YESSSSSSSSSSENATOR!!!” she replied. “An honor to attempt to be as cool as you”

Rudolph also affirmed the senator’s note, retweeting it and adding, “YES SHE WAS SENATOR HARRIS!!!”
