Juventus are still keen on signing Paul Pogba and are eager to include a player in the potential deal, according to reports in Italy.

Pogba is set to report for pre-season at Manchester United in the coming days and talks are planned between the player and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Frenchman publicly stated his desire for a new challenge while on international duty earlier this summer and rejoining Juventus is his preferred choice.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claim Juventus first have to raise the cash to bid for Pogba, but are ready to include a player as a makeweight.

Juventus believe there are strong candidates in their squad that would appeal to United and will offer the Red Devils the pick of Blaise Matuidi, Alex Sandro and Paulo Dybala.

Sandro and Dybala have heavily been linked with a switch to Old Trafford in recent years, with Jose Mourinho failing in a bid to sign Sandro during his tenure.

The left-back considered quitting Juventus for a lucrative deal in the Premier League last year before deciding to sign a contract extension with the Italians.

Dybala is considered one of the best strikers in the world and Juventus think the forward would be the best option to drive down Pogba’s asking price.

United are long-time admirers of the 25-year-old, while Juventus also think the Red Devils would be attracted to the idea of signing French midfielder Matuidi.

With Pogba considering his future, Solskjaer is planning the addition of two midfielders whether or not the midfielder leaves Old Trafford.

Newcastle’s Sean Longstaff and Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes are Solskjaer’s favoured options.
