Juventus have ruled out the possibility of signing Anthony Martial from Manchester United.

Martial is actively looking to leave United before the end of the January transfer window after struggling for playing time this season.

But United are demanding a loan fee in the region of £6 million and also want the forward’s £150,000-a-week salary to be paid in full.

Sevilla have already made an approach this month but their offer fell short of United’s demands.

Meanwhile, reports claim that Martial has turned down offers from Newcastle United and Tottenham.

When asked about a possible move for Martial on Tuesday evening, Juventus’ chief executive, Maurizio Arrivabene, emphatically ruled out the prospect of bringing the 26-year-old to Serie A.

‘Absolutely not at those figures,’ Arrivabene said.

‘We don’t wait for them [United] to come down, we don’t wait at all. We don’t talk about it.’

Martial is back in United’s squad for their trip to Brentford on Wednesday evening and Ralf Rangnick insists there is no more fall-out after he accused the forward of refusing to make himself available for the game against Aston Villa on Saturday.

‘I said all that needs to be said on that after the game,’ said Rangnick.

‘I nominated him before the game and he was not part of the group,

‘You can draw your own conclusions out of that. I had a conversation with him on Sunday about all this and now, for me, from my perspective, everything has been spoken about, has been resolved. No need to add anything on top of that.’
