Juventus prepare mega deals for Harry Kane and Cristiano Ronaldo

Italy may be on lockdown because of coronavirus but that’s not stopping the football gossip columnists from reporting on potential transfer business.

According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport Serie A champions Juventus are preparing mega deals to extend Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract and to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.

Ronaldo may have recently turned 35-years-old but his performances on the pitch prove that age is not an issue for the star striker.

In 32 games for Juventus this season Ronaldo has scored 25 goals in all competitions. And since joining from Real Madrid in 2018 the Portugal skipper has scored 53 goals in 73 games for the Turin club.

Ronaldo’s current deal – which is worth €31m (£28m) a year – expires in 2022 but Tuttosport says Juve are keen for their star man to stay.

They are preparing to offer him a two-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2024 – which will be beyond his 39th birthday.

Juventus are also looking for a new striker to come in and play alongside Ronaldo in their attack.

Tuttosport says that Spurs and England star Kane is wanted by the Serie A giants and they have made the 26-year-old their top summer target.

Three Lions skipper Kane has been heavily linked with Manchester United and Manchester City, but the Daily Express adds that Juve are prepared to spend €200m (£181.6m) on his transfer and wages to “get the deal over the line”.

According to the Express if Kane does not want a switch to Italy then Juventus could make a move for Man City’s Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus.
