Justin Timberlake’s wedding ring is firmly back on after he apologised to his wife Jessica Biel after holding hands with his co-star Alisha Wainwright.

The Cry Me A River singer was seen holding hands with Alisha under a table during a boozy night out in New Orleans. In the snaps, his wedding ring couldn’t be seen.

Addressing any rumours about the pair of them, Justin apologised to his family, branding his actions as a ‘lapse in judgement’ and insisted nothing happened between him and Alisha.

Now, he’s been spotted with his ring firmly back on as he was spotted for the first time since his public statement.

Dressed down, the 38-year-old donned sporty clothes as he stepped out in New Orleans, looking slightly solemn and tucking plastic bottles under his arm.

JT and Jessica have been married since since 2012 and, after his apology, a source told PEOPLE that Jessica will ‘stand by’ her husband.

‘He’s charming and outgoing. And obviously he drank too much this time, but Jessica believes he didn’t cheat on her. She will stand by him,’ they said.

In a statement posted to his Instagram account on Wednesday, the 38-year-old singer said: ‘I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family I feel it is important to address recent rumours that are hurting the people that I love.

‘A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgement – but let me be clear – nothing happened between me and my co-star.’

He continued: ‘I drank way too much that night and I regret my behaviour. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son.’

The popstar concluded the statement: ‘I apologise to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that.

‘I am incredibly proud to be working on Palmer. Looking forward to continuing to make this movie and excited for people to see it.’

Alisha and Jessica are both yet to speak out publicly about the incident.
