Justin Timberlake was tackled outside a Paris Fashion Week show today, and the culprit is believed to be a notorious prankster who has targeted celebrities for years.

The Cry Me A River singer was making his way to the Louis Vuitton ready-to-wear spring-summer 2020 show in Paris on Tuesday afternoon with his wife Jessica Biel, when a man suddenly grabbed his ankle.

Despite Justin being surrounded by burly security guards, the man managed to crawl along the floor and grab a hold of Justin’s leg.

In the midst of the swarm, Justin appeared to not notice what was happening initially before he and Jessica turned around visibly startled.

Fortunately, Justin avoided being knocked to the ground in the melee.

Security finally managed to prise the man away and Justin, 38, and Jessica, 37, continued walking into the venue completely poised as though nothing had happened.

Once inside, the married couple sat front row and happily posed for photos with actress Alicia Vikander, seemingly not phased by the shocking incident.

The man is believed to be Vitalii Sediuk, the notorious prankster who has previously targeted the likes of Will Smith and Kim Kardashian.

In his Instagram Stories, Vitalii shared a throwback photo of him seated near Justin at the Grammy Awards, and said: ‘It’s been a while since I saw @justintimberlake at the grammys. Nothing has changed with the exception that we both have beards now.’

Pre-empting criticism for his prank, Vitalii then said it wasn’t an ‘attack’, stating that his gay friends being beaten up in an allegedly homophobic incident this summer was a real ‘attack’.

Justin isn’t the only celebrity to come face-to-face with a prankster at Paris Fashion Week this season.

Earlier in the day, model Gigi Hadid escorted a woman off the runway after the woman appeared at the Chanel show, which saw Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour sitting FROW.
