Justin Bieber reveals new single with Ed Sheeran after announcing mental health break from music

Beliebers should know by now to “Never Say Never.”

Less than two months after revealing plans to take some time off work to focus on mental health, Justin Bieber is about to release new music. The pop singer announced Tuesday he would be collaborating with Ed Sheeran on the British singer’s single called “I Don’t Care,” out Friday.

The two have been sharing cryptic count downs on their social media pages. Last week Sheeran and Bieber both posted pictures of the two of them photoshopped together.

This isn’t the first time the two have collaborated. Bieber’s 2015 song “Love Yourself” was originally written by Sheeran for his 2017 album “Divide.”

Bieber, 25, has made headlines most recently by sharing his ongoing struggle with mental health. In a March 25 Instagram post, he told fans that he knows they want a new album and more concerts, but he has some work to do before he’s ready for all of that.

“I am now very focused on repairing some of the deep rooted issues that I have as most of us have, so that I don’t fall apart, so that I can sustain my marriage (with model Hailey Bieber) and be the father I want to be,” he wrote with what appears to be a picture of himself in his fashion line from the neck down. “Music is very important to me but Nothing comes before my family and my health.”

But the Biebs assured fans at the time that he plans on coming back with a new album “ASAP” (and) “with a vengeance.”
