Justin Bieber revealed in September that he considered his marriage to Hailey Bieber to be the ‘best season’ of his life.
And it appears the 25-year-old pop star has been putting in the necessary effort to maintain the sanctity of their relationship, when he shared a snapshot to Instagram on Wednesday evening highlighting some of his ‘essential’ pieces of self-help literature.
The book at the forefront, His Needs, Her Needs: Building an Affair-Proof Marriage by Willard Hartley, offers the reader guidance in satisfying the ‘needs’ of spouses and ways to love ‘more creatively’ and ‘sensitively.’

Bieber’s relationship with Hailey came about in 2015, following his rocky on-and-off again romance with Disney darling, Selena Gomez.
And since marrying the former Baldwin in September of 2018, the Yummy singer has opened up about his past indiscretions and his blatant ‘disrespect’ towards women.
‘l started doing pretty heavy drugs at 19 and abused all of my relationships. I became resentful, disrespectful to women, and angry,’ he admitted in a lengthy Instagram post.
He claimed that he had become ‘distant to everyone who loved [him]’ and that he has resorted to ‘hiding behind a shell’ to cope with his rage.

And with Hartley’s knowledge in hand, the singer hopes to prevent his past mistakes from reemerging and imploding his marriage with Hailey.
One of the points mentioned in the popular Christian marriage guide is that men and women have ‘very different needs,’ something that Bieber has admitted having struggled to grasp.
Having had the entire world at his disposal from such a young age, Bieber felt as if only his needs mattered and that he was the center of not only his own, but everyone else’s universe.

He had gone from a ’13 year old boy from a small town’ to a pop sensation ‘with millions saying how much they loved [him]’ in a span of two years.
‘You hear these things enough as a young boy and you actually start believing them,’ he wrote.
Now, Bieber has shifted his focus to practicing selflessness and going out of his way to put his wife ‘on a pedestal.’
On Monday, the Baby singer shared a post to Instagram professing his love for Hailey.

Admitting that his public proclamations are not a result of having some thing ‘to prove,’ but rather he has found that there is ‘power in putting your wife on a pedestal.’
‘I like to make my wife feel special and valued. I’ve done a lot of cool things, but I don’t think anything comes close to as cool as that.’
He remarked in the past that marriage has been ‘an amazing, crazy, new responsibility’ and that through his time with Mrs. Bieber he has learned ‘patience, commitment, kindness, humility’ and other necessary traits it takes to ‘be a good man.’
Bieber met then Hailey Baldwin back in 2011 during the Hollywood red carpet premiere for his music documentary, Never Say Never, where her and her father Stephen were in attendance.

Years later, through the means of mutual friend Kendall Jenner, the pair would reunite and eventually begin dating in 2015.
Bieber made things Instagram official when he shared of photo of himself and Hailey sharing a passionate kiss during the 2016 New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Soon after, Baldwin spoke exclusively to E News and revealed that her relations with Justin at the time were ‘not exclusive’ because the singer was tour bound.
The Purpose singer even confessed that he was ‘to busy’ to commit to anyone, around the same time during a 2016 sit-down with GQ.
Six-months later the pair would split and Bieber attempt to rekindle relationships with Gomez, which quickly turned sour.

In March of 2019, the newlyweds made their way onto the cover of Vogue, where Justin would open up about his realizations surrounding his relationship with his model wife.

‘When I saw her last June, I just forgot how much I loved her and how much I missed her and how much of a positive impact she made on my life,’ he confessed.
Their reconnect was enough to convince him that the love he had with Baldwin was ‘what he’d been looking for.’
Earlier in the month, Bieber released his song Yummy where he expresses his emotional passion for the 23-year-old.
But, Bieber aims to evolve in other facets of his life, not just marriage.
Along with Hartley’s guide, the singer has delved headfirst into acquiring the skills needed to be a great leader for not just the familial, but for the professional.

The 10-part documentary will drop its first episode on January 27th.
The singer will also reveal more of the nitty gritty details surrounding his chronic mononucleosis and Lyme disease diagnosis, which he revealed to the public via a shocking Instagram post earlier in the month.
