Rapper Juice Wrld‘s death has prompted an outpouring of tributes from fellow musical artists, celebrities and fans.
On Sunday, it was reported by TMZ that the Chicago-born rapper, real name is Jarad Anthony Higgins, died at the age of 21.
According to the outlet, the “Lucid Dreams” singer suffered a seizure at Chicago’s Midway Airport and was pronounced dead a short time later in hospital. Authorities confirmed Higgins died followed a “medical emergency” on Sunday morning.
Following the news of the 21-year-old’s death, celebrities including Zedd and DJ Snake have taken to social media to express their condolences.
“Really shocked and sad to find out Juice Wrld passed away… and so young too…” Zedd wrote on Twitter. “A reminder that life can be over at any moment… be kind to one another.”

Ocasek was pronounced dead after police were alerted to an unresponsive male at a Manhattan townhouse. A cause of death has yet to be confirmed, though The Daily Beast reports that an NYPD official said Ocasek appeared to have died from “natural causes”.

Chicago-born rapper Juice Wrld, real name Jarad Anthony Higgins, died 8 December at the age of 21.
The Associated Press confirmed that the “Lucid Dreams” rapper suffered a “medical emergency” at Chicago’s Midway International Airport, and was later pronounced dead in hospital.

Makeup artist Jeffree Star said he had “no words” in response to the news.
“Waking up and reading this horrible news… RIP JUICE WRLD you were taken too soon,” Star wrote. “This hits so close to home I have no words.”
Fellow rapper Rich the Kid tweeted: “Nooo way not Juice Wrld somebody say this is not real.”
Among those expressing their grief over Juice Wrld’s death were professional video gamers, who knew of the rapper’s love of video games.
Joedat “Voyboy” Esfahani, a professional League of Legends esports player, wrote: “Life is just cruel man… Juice Wrld was such an incredible, poetic and beautiful soul. He was only 21 but captured my and so many hearts around the world with his music. Too young, too soon, too tragic. Rest in peace to the legend.”
A gamer who goes by Ninja wrote: “Waking up to Juice Wrld passing from a seizure… I loved his music and he was my most listened to artist in 2019. I’m heartbroken, my love goes out to his family and loved ones. Too soon man.”
Higgins is said to have predicted his own death in a track from his 2018 EP Too Soon… On the single “Legends,” the rapper said he “ain’t making it past 21”.
