Juice Wrld dead: Rapper dies aged 21 after suffering seizure in Chicago airport


Juice Wrld has passed away at the age of 21, according to TMZ.

The rapper reportedly died after suffering from a seizure at Chicago’s Midway airport on Sunday morning after arriving on a flight from California.

Police sources said the rapper had the seizure while walking through the airport.

Juice, real name Jarad Anthony Higgins, was said to be still conscious when he was taken to a hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after.

The cause of his death has not yet been confirmed.

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Juice Wrld for comment.

Juice Wrld rose to fame last year when he released his single Lucid Dreams, which achieved a top 10 position in the UK charts.

The song also peaked at number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

His song All Girls Are The Same, was remixed by Lil Uzi Vert and caught the attention of Interscope Records, who then signed him to a multi-million dollar contract.

He recently collaborated with Ellie Goulding on her song Hate Me and has also worked with Travis Scott and Nicki Minaj.

His debut album, Goodbye & Good Riddance, reached number four on the Billboard 200 chart before his second album, Death Race For Love, earned him his first number one on the chart.

Earlier this year, the artist stepped in for Future as the support act on Nicki Minaj’s European tour which spanned 19 dates.
