The Philomena actor was married to her husband Michael Williams for 30 years before he died of lung cancer back in 2001.
Judi later found love with David Mills, a conservationist, who she met in 2011 after he asked her to open his new badger enclosure at his zoo in Surrey.
Although she seems happy in her relationship, she does not wish to refer to David as her “partner”.
The star told Woman and Home magazine: “I have a jolly nice friend now. I don’t know what the word is because I don’t like the word partner.”
“Partner is something to do with dancing. Partner – horrible word. Friend? No. Boyfriend? No. Chap? Will chap do?”
