Jude Law’s ex, and the mother of his fifth child, Cat Cavelli, has made it through the blind auditions of The Voice – and she certainly put a spell on Olly Murs.

The singer – otherwise known as Catherine Harding – shares four-year-old daughter Ada with the Captain Marvel actor.

Rocking a sequin leotard and skirt, Cat launched into a sultry rendition of I Put A Spell On You, made famous by Annie Lennox – and Olly Murs and Will.i.am both turned their chairs around for her.

Meghan Trainor started off with the comments as she exclaimed: ‘I was certain that it was at least two women up there, so I was completely shocked when I turned around. Your range and that you can sing in so many different voices, I thought it was so cool.

‘I am blown away that you’re all alone up there, you’re amazing.’

Olly Murs commented: ‘That was an incredible performance, the story of it and of course I loved the sexiness of it.  We all loved the sexiness of it. I loved when I turned around that I got to see you perform two different characters.  You put a spell on me, so thank you.’

Will.i.am added: ‘The reason why I turned was because I wanted to irritate Olly.  I could tell he was mesmerised.’

But when it came to the crunch, Cat decided to go with Team Olly.

Before taking to the stage, Cat admitted that she’s trying out for ITV’s singing competition to set an example for her daughter.

‘I just want to show my daughter that you can be whoever you want to be,’ she said in the clip. ‘[I want to be] a good role model for her.’

Jude also shares three children with his ex-wife Sadie Frost, including up-and-coming actor Rafferty, 22.

The Voice continues Saturday at 8.30pm on ITV
