Jude Law reunited with his fiancee, Phillipa Coan, in London this weekend after spending time abroad filming scenes for his upcoming series, The New Pope, last week.
The Alfie actor was pictured on a cosy lunch date with Phillipa on Saturday afternoon and affectionately held hands with the psychologist as they stood in the restaurant’s doorway before heading inside for their meal.
Jude, 46, was on his phone at the time and seemed to be having a particularly intense conversation as, at one point, he rubbed his face appearing to be frustrated.
However, he was all smiles when Phillipa lovingly grasped his hands, with her so-called engagement ring clearly visible.
In February, it was reported that Jude was set to marry Phillip, 32, in a ‘romantic ceremony surrounded by showbiz pals’ in France this spring.
It was also claimed that Jude’s eldest son Rafferty, whom he shares with his ex-wife Sadie Frost, would be best man at the nuptials.
A source told The Sun at the time: ‘The wedding itself will be a good old fashioned knees up with plenty of booze and dancing. All his old pals are going from when he was growing up in London and just starting out in his career.
‘Jude and Phillipa have been going out together for years and get on really well, so this is the next natural step. Jude is busy working on various projects but they always make time to meet up either in London or on location.’
Jude may look a little unrecognisable on the lunch date after he nearly broke the Internet last week in his tighty-whities.
The British actor was spotted filming scenes for The New Pope in Venice, Italy, and he left very little to the imagination.
Jude strolled around in a pair of very small, white speedos while shooting alongside his co-star, French actress Ludivine Sagnier.
The New Pope follows on from HBO’s 2017 limited miniseries The Young Pope and will see Jude take on the role of Pope Pius XIII.
