Jourdan Dunn would have had all eyes on her anyway at her Maybelline bash, considering her name was splashed all over it.

But she decided to slay as much as possible while attending, and we appreciate it her not resting on her laurels.

The 28-year-old was serving Studio 54 realness in a semi see-through gold dress as she celebrated Maybelline being named the UK’s number one mascara brand.

Jourdan went braless beneath the crocheted metallic number from Rami Kadi, which featured a mid-length skirt and a fringed hem.

Proving VPL isn’t a problem once you’re owning it, Jourdan’s black pants were visible under the frock, which the model paired with black and gold heels and curls.

The British model promoted the make-up brands products at the bash, which was attended by Mel C, Ashley Roberts, Vick Hope, Laura Anderson and Felicity Hayward – who, amazingly, was accompanied by her pet pooch.

Jourdan was first scouted aged 15 while shopping for sunglasses in Primark, and has gone on to become one of the UK’s top models, being named Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards twice.

In 2008, she was the first black model to walk for Prada in over a decade, she’s walked in three Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows, and Jourdan even starred in two Beyonce videos.

Goals.

However, the mother-of-one revealed that she was mocked at school for the 5’11 stature that made her a supermodel.

Speaking to Wonderland, Jourdan said: ‘I used to get called chicken legs! Kids can be horrible at school. They pick on your insecurities, and my legs were one of them. Now I can laugh about it, because that same insecurity has made me become the model I am today.

‘I saw the video of my [Calzedonia] campaign in the store the other day, and I know that the people that used to call me that will see it, like, “Oh damn, look how far chicken legs has come!”‘

And while she has come a long way since playground insults, Jourdan still calls out toxic behaviour when she sees it, especially on social media.

Speaking about her persona on Instagram, Jourdan told Harper’s Bazaar: ‘It’s weird to think that [my followers] wouldn’t think I was going through any personal struggles, but I’m still human.

‘I think it’s a toxic place, especially when you are so wrapped up in it. People don’t know the difference between reality and Instagram and I think that’s dangerous.’
