Newly engaged Jonah Hill splurges $6.77M on Colonial-style home in California seaside town of Santa Monica
News of Jonah Hill’s engagement to girlfriend Gianna Santos broke on Tuesday.
So it’s no real surprise that it was also revealed by Hollywood trade publication Variety that Hill recently purchased a new home fit for a family.
The Superbad and Moneyball actor shelled out $6.77 million for a Colonial-style residence built in 1950 in the seaside town of Santa Monica, California.

While Hill, 35, has been spending a lot of time on the East Coast, his new fiancee works for Violet Gray, a beauty company based in Los Angeles.
The couple were first spotted out in public together in New York in August 2018.
Hill bought the property from singer and songwriter Jesse Jo Stark and, according to the LA Times, the estate was once owned by Hollywood star Jean Simmons.
The two-story home sits on just over a quarter acre facing Santa Monica Canyon and is situated at the end of a driveway behind large white wooden gates.

It’s been a busy and groundbreaking year for Hill who garnered critical praise for his feature film directorial debut Mid90s that debuted stateside in October 2018 and was rolled out across Europe in the spring.
Earlier this year, he collaborated with Spike Jonze on the live show Beastie Boys Story starring Mike ‘Mike D’ Diamond and Adam ‘Adrock’ Horovitz.
He also told London’s Press Association that he is directing several music videos for artists including Vampire Weekend, Gucci Mane and Travis Scott.
