Before joining Immortals Gaming Club, Tuck spent over three years at NASCAR. Starting as Chief Revenue Officer of NASCAR Digital Media in 2016, he also assumed responsibility for NASCAR itself in 2018 before departing in February this year.

He spoke on his new venture, via The Esports Observer: “IGC is experiencing a period of dynamic growth with its impressive portfolio of assets and a young, enormous, engaged audience. The entire esports ecosystem is growing and will continue to do so for years to come. I look forward to working with the team to partner with brands to help them navigate esports and develop partnerships that allow them to engage our audience in an organic, authentic way.”

Immortals Gaming Club boasts multiple esports brands and franchises in its portfolio, namely LCS team Immortals, Overwatch League franchise Los Angeles Valiant, Call of Duty League franchise OpTic Gaming Los Angeles, Brazilian Counter-Strike: Global Offensive brand MIBR, and tournament platform Gamers Club.

Ari Segal, CEO of Immortals Gaming Club, commented on the hire: “In Jon, we’ve identified an established, strategic, credible, and passionate sales leader who can commercialize that portfolio now and in the future. Jon’s experience as the senior revenue executive at NASCAR combined with his prior roles managing sales teams and driving revenue at other blue chip, contextually relevant digital properties position him extraordinarily well for this opportunity.”

Esports Insider says: Tuck is evidently experienced when it comes to revenue in the world of traditional sports so it’ll be interesting to see how he operates in esports, an industry where revenue generation is lacking in many areas.
