John Mulaney and Olivia Munn’s romance is reportedly facing ‘uncertainty,’ less than two months after the comedian confirmed he’s expecting a child with the actress.

‘This has been an imperfect relationship from the start,’ claimed a source to UsWeekly on Saturday.

The 39-year-old funny man and the 40-year-old Newsroom star have been romantically linked since June, just months after Mulaney split from his wife of seven years.

‘Even though Olivia’s going to be a wonderful mother and has great support behind her, Olivia’s friends just don’t see these two being a couple in a year’s time,’ the source continued. 

And while the pair’s loved ones are confident in their parenting abilities, the person added, ‘nobody knows yet if they’re going to do that together or apart.’

‘Olivia and John still have to decide what kind of future they’re going to have together, if any,’ the source stated. ‘It’s a time of uncertainty, for both of them.’

The two Hollywood stars are reportedly ‘a long way from deciding and locking in what their relationship is going to be going forward.’

But fans have questioned the timeline, speculating that the new couple’s relationship may have begun before he left his wife. 

News of their split came out in May, and Mulaney reportedly asked for a divorce in February 2021, before officially filing in July.

After Mulaney’s on-air announcement, a celebrity agent who had worked with Munn told Page Six: ‘It seems to me that he is going to great lengths to dispute the idea that he cheated.

‘I don’t think it’s any coincidence that John broke the news of Olivia’s pregnancy the way he did in terms of basically giving a timeline of his past few months.’

Meanwhile, the stand-up performer has gone silent on social media.
