John Boyega has the best reaction to someone reporting him on Twitter for speaking out against racism

John Boyega has the best reaction to being reported on Twitter for speaking out against racism

John Boyega was reported on Twitter for a tweet he shared while speaking out against racism.

The Star Wars actor, 28, recently sparked a reaction on social media, after he was seen unapologetically venting his frustration over racism in reference to George Floyd – a black man who died after being handcuffed and pinned down by a white police officer’s knee.

He clarified that he was specifically talking about ‘white on black racism’ which sparked a debate on Twitter, with some people taking offence.

John strongly defended his comments, insisting that he wouldn’t tolerate any form of racism directed towards him or others online, but it seems while doing so, one user decided to report his tweets.

Unbothered, though, John had the best reaction.

He shared Twitter’s response to the complaint, confirming he hadn’t violated any of the rules, and captioned it: ‘Off to the shops. Does anyone want anything?’

It comes after John doubled down on a tweet he had posted that said: ‘I f**king hate racists,’ by sharing an Instagram Live video where he refused to apologise for his comment.

John said: ‘I hate racists with a passion. It’s very important at this time that we ignore ignorance. That we ignore people who come through and try to make these situations what they’re not.

‘I’m not even apologising first of all, you lot better f**king believe that, there is no way that I have the opinion that there are no other forms of racism. Of course there are other forms of racism.

‘But, a black man was just murdered in cold blood in the street Stateside again, while saying that he can’t breathe. That’s a continuous cycle going on – although I don’t live in the States, I’m black. F**k that.’

And John later revealed that he had the full support of his mum, tweeting his mum’s reaction to his comments.

‘My mum “Good boy,”‘ he tweeted along with a string of laughing emojis.

John had previously spoken out about George’s heartbreaking death, which has since sparked protests in Minneapolis.

Paying tribute to George like many other celebrities, John wrote: ‘George Floyd. So heartbreaking to hear about the continuous cycle of violence aimed at black people by racist cops. Murder charges only.’
