John Barrowman is the face of a new lotion campaign and we are mildly confused

John Barrowman has fronted a brand new ad campaign about moisturising lotion and we don’t know how to feel about this.

The actor can be seen holding a tiny bottle of The Holiday Feeling in a Bottle lotion while wearing a fluffy white robe and it’s something alright.

Not only does the lotion look incredibly tiny in his hands, but the 52-year-old also kisses the bottle (as a thank you for keeping his skin protected?).

Turns out, the new product has been launched ‘to stave off the gloomy feelings associated with long nights and cold weather’.

Enriched with essence of Mojito, Sea Salt and Tropical Palms – all of which were voted for by the nation as key holiday feelings, apparently.

When he’s not advocating for glowing skin protected from the sun, he’s advocating for rights on Dancing On Ice.

The star has called on the LGBTQ+ community to fully support the same-sex pairing on the new series of Dancing On Ice.

Steps singer Ian ‘H’ Watkins has been paired with professional ice skater Matt Evers for the new series, and John, who is a judge on the 2020 series, praised ITV for the ‘amazing’ decision.

Appearing on This Morning, the actor also responded to criticism he had seen questioning the decision of pairing two men.

He told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: ‘I think it’s amazing, and congratulations to Dancing On Ice and ITV for being the first in the UK to have same-sex partners.

‘I don’t know if it’s around the world but I’m pretty sure it probably is.

‘I think one thing…we all just now have to sit back a little bit because, I’ve followed stuff online and there’s been a little controversy of why is it two men, why is it this, why is it that?’

He added: ‘You know what, it’s a same-sex partnership. It’s the first. Let’s do it this way, be supportive as a community, the LGBTQ community and everybody else.

‘Let’s be supportive of this and let’s see how they do. Let’s see if they’re gonna be good.’

John seems to have his elements covered, now for something around water and earth.
