Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon leave fans in tears as he shares ‘beautiful’ first image of newborn



Joe Swash left fans in tears after he shared the first snap of his newborn son with Stacey Solomon.

The celebrity couple welcomed their first child together on Thursday morning, and told fans the arrival was “a lot earlier than planned”.

Swash posted a snap of “super human” Solomon cradling the newborn minutes after giving birth before later sharing another black and white snap of their child squeezing his finger.

He captioned the Instagram shot: “2day has been amazing!!!!”

Fans were in awe of the “beautiful” image as they urged the couple to “cherish” the “priceless” moment.

Others were left in tears, with one commenting: “Aww your words have brought tears to my eyes. Spoken from the heart Joe. Congratulations to you all xxxx.”

Solomon’s Loose Women co-star Nadia Sawalha wrote: “Awwwww !!!! Heaven true heaven.”

The post came hours after Swash announced the news of their new arrival with a touching tribute to Solomon who he described as the ‘love of his life’.

“This morning. A lot earlier than planned I watched the love of my life, bring a new life into the world,” he wrote. “We are overwhelmed, overjoyed and apprehensive of what’s to come. Mummy and baby are well and resting. We are so grateful for all of the love, support and positivity we’ve received over the last 8 months.”

Swash said he was “lost for words” before telling fans: “I’m going to spend the next few days and the rest of my life falling more in love with these two humans.”

The couple announced the news they were expecting in February by sharing a snap of the ultrasound. Swash also joked that he thought Solomon had become “bored senseless” of him, before learning that “she still loves me and my company very much she’s just been growing a baby”.

The pair are already parents, Solomon to sons Zachary, 10, and Leighton, six, and Swash to son Harry who he shares with his ex Emma Sophocleous.
