Strictly Come Dancing finalist Joe Sugg, 28, who competed on the show with Dianne Buswell, 30, last year, spoke about Karim Zeroual, 25, and Amy Dowden’s upcoming dances on the show this weekend. On the latest Strictly podcast, he told listeners that his friends are likely to vote for the pair because of their song choice.
This Saturday, the dancing duo will perform an American Smooth to Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline as well as an Argentine Tango to Bond’s Libertango.
Speaking with his podcast co-host Kim Winston, he told listeners the dancing duo will get votes from some of his friends.
He said: “Their American Smooth is Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond.
“It’s an anthem, I know straight away they’re getting all my mates back home’s votes because they just love that song.

“They won’t know the couples necessarily but they’ll be like, ‘If I hear Sweet Caroline, I vote for it’.”
Joe’s co-host Kym then queried: “Are you trying to tell me your friends stopped watching after you left?”
The Youtube star replied: “Oh no, I made sure they still watched. They’re actually invested now.”
Last weekend, Karim and Amy became the first dancing duo to get the perfect score of 40.
When asked if he found the lifts exhausting during his time on the show, he said: “We didn’t really do that many lifts.
“I feel like when I look back on it, we are so lucky to have got to the final because we didn’t really put in that many lifts.
“We did have a few lifts in our Argentine Tango, but little ones.”
Following their time on the show, Joe and Dianne revealed they are in a relationship.
Back in January, Joe shared a picture of the pair gazing into each other’s eyes in view of his 5.5 million followers on Instagram.
He told fans the red-haired beauty was better than winning the Glitterball trophy, which was won by Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton.
Back in April, Joe and Dianne took their relationship to the next level by moving in together.
This week, the pair gave fans insight into their dance rehearsals ahead of the show’s Christmas special.
