Joe Jonas reveals he was trolled for accidentally spoiling Game of Thrones

Joe Jonas felt the wrath of Game of Thrones fans after he accidentally posted a spoiler during the final series.

The singer, who is married to Sansa Stark actress Sophie Turner, faced a backlash from followers after posting a congratulatory message to one of the stars after a particular episode.

Jonas told Capital Breakfast: “I have to be careful because I spoiled the show for a few people by accident.

“I posted a congratulations message for somebody and I got, like, a bunch of people that wrote me back and were like ‘I unfollowed every Game of Thrones account and somehow Joe Jonas is the one that spoiled the show for me!’”

In a bid to prevent any further trolling he refused to reveal what he stole from the set of the HBO drama as a keepsake.

“I’ll just say there is something in the promos that if you watch back – for Sophie’s character – that is going to be sitting in our garden,” he teased.

Earlier this year, Turner revealed that her then-fiancé was made to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement to ensure that he kept the final series under wraps.

“Joe was on set most of the time so he kind of figured it out and he was like, ‘Can you fill me [in]?’,” Turner told Entertainment Tonight.

“And, he signed an NDN, NDA and everything so it’s all good.”

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner marry in Las Vegas

Turner and Jonas, who started dating in 2016, tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony after the Billboard Music Awards in early May

The A-List couple said “I Do” in the Little White Chapel in front of a few family and friends. The happy occasion was documented by Diplo on Instagram.

“I do love Diplo but he loves his ‘gram more than a 13 year-old. He posts every five seconds. He literally, like, live streamed with dog face filters,” Jonas told Roman Kemp.

“We just laughed. We loved it, we thought it was ridiculous. We just loved that he was walking into the chapel and he was like ‘gonna hit this wedding real quick’.”

Tune into Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp, week days from 6am – 10am across the UK
