Chrissy Teigen had the most relatable reaction to the US election results.

Joe Biden was named President of the United States, defeating Donald Trump after a lengthy vote count.

Addressing the news on Twitter, Chrissy – who has publicly slated Trump on social media – joked that she felt a huge release over the announcement.

‘My god it feels like I just took off a weighted blanket, unhooked my bra and taken out my extensions all at once,’ she tweeted.

‘I can’t imagine that incredible feeling of being elected president and being so so happy but then realising that you have to actually do stuff.

‘Like we are the real winners here.’

She makes a good point.

The model also opted for a bubble bath to commemorate the news, telling fans: ‘It’s a celebration.’

Chrissy wasn’t the only celebrity reacting to Biden’s win, with Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga and Gigi Hadid cheering.

Lizzo was left in tears at Trump’s departure, posting an emotional clip on her Instagram page.

‘There are a few times in this country, where I’m hopeful. Like every time I’m hopeful it gets taken away from me,’ she said. ‘And this time I was hopeful, and I was scared.

‘I think Trump is out of office, officially. I’m seeing the news everywhere, I think this is the end of that four year term that felt like 1000 years, where people lost their lives, their livelihoods. This country fell into a pandemic, a recession….

‘And you can’t really blame one president for things but you can blame them for how they handle it. It was so mishandled, and I felt so unseen and so neglected.

‘Whether you’re blue or red, that man didn’t care about you.’

She added: ‘I’m so ready to see if America can hold itself accountable.’

Anyone else need a tissue after that?
