Jodie Marsh trolled for her Christmas decorations because it’s October and we’re all Grinches

Jodie has already cracked out the tinsel

Turns out October is far too early to be putting up Christmas decorations, as Jodie Marsh found out this week.

The model is well into the Christmas spirit, sharing her festive decorations well ahead of the 25 December date, while we’re getting our head around Halloween.

But despite a whole tonne of trolling form her followers who are all kinds of ‘WTF, Jodes, it’s October’, Jodie is one persistent decorator.

After receiving backlash from a bunch of Grinches, Jodie defended her festive flair – even if it was a little premature.

‘Oh god the Christmas haters have started !!!! Hahahahahaha I LOVE that they get so irate,’ Jodie mused on Twitter on Tuesday night.

‘Like, why do they care when I put my decorations up?’

Eh, she has a point.

Jodie continued: ‘It genuinely amuses me that people get so angry. Me and Billy are like two pigs in sh*t over here at Marsh Manors. Enjoy folks.’

It came after the 40-year-old posted some rather extravagant examples of how she’s gone above and beyond this holiday season.

We’re talking train sets weaving their way around her loungeroom furniture, artificial snow – inside, no less, pah, she’s creating her own indoor weather system – and a weird lifesize figurine of the villain from Saw that will most definitely make the average punter wet themselves if they go for a midnight water run.

‘It’s Christmas in our house already. And that’s all that matters really,’ she wrote alongside more shots.

‘The village is bigger and better this year! Feast your eyes on this delight.’

As well as aforementioned train set, creepy Jigsaw character and fake snow, Jodie had also erected a ‘posh’ Christmas tree in the loungeroom with one giant, plush elf taking pride of place on an armchair.

Here’s hoping she doesn’t have visitors in the next couple months, or poor Elf will be relegated to the floor.

It seemed she had got her boyfriend Billy Nuttall his own tree, too, with a blue sensation taking pride of place in another room.

Adorned with Harry Potter and Star Wars decorations, Jodie was going all out for the all-blue theme.

‘The Star Wars and Harry Potter tree just for Billy (because he’s obsessed with both) – still more to go on but this is a good start!!’ she wrote.

Of course it didn’t take long for the fans to start wondering why on earth she was getting so excited for Christmas when there was over two months to go.

Suppose this is why we’re not allowed to have nice things?

‘How long was I asleep for? I thought it was still October,’ one trolled.

Another wasn’t keen on being reminded of the passing winds of time, as they chimed in: ‘Whhaaaattt?? Our first baby is due at Christmas and all the Christmas stuff in shops and now seeing you have a tree up is giving me anxiety.’

‘You realise it’s October right!??,’ while another added: ‘Jodie, it’s a bit early for this, isn’t it?’

Some suggested perhaps Jodie needs to think about a Halloween tree before Christmas, as they added: ‘WTF it’s only just turned October. Not even had Halloween or Bommy nights yet! Just wrong marsh!’

Oh, deck the halls, we say!
