Jodie Comer is loved up – and loving life.

The 27-year-old star struck up a new romance after meeting her man at a party while she was filming Free Guy in Boston last year, and she confessed the relationship has opened her eyes.

Asked by the Sunday Times about being in love, Jodie smiled: ‘Yeah. You know, I would never want to speak badly about people in my past, but yeah, this relationship feels very different. This feels like nothing else.

‘When you actually feel it, you’re like, “Ahhh, so this is what it feels like!” And it was special.

‘I was away, it was the height of summer, I was doing this incredible job that was so much fun, it was my first time working in the States. So it was a lot of firsts.’

Jodie is still staying coy about her mysterious man – who is rumoured to be American lacrosse player James Burke – but she admitted he works in tech and ‘isn’t in the public eye at all’.

Although she’s yet to confirm details, back in April she revealed the relationship was ‘fairly new’.

When asked about being in love in her interview with British Vogue, Jodie replied: ‘I’m very much in it.

‘I think love’s the best. I’d been single for a while and just kind of going with the flow and doing my thing. That’s the thing, isn’t it?

‘When you’re relaxed and letting the universe do what it’s doing, things kind of fall into place. Which is very much what happened.’

Although Burke was snapped outside her family home – where she still lives in Liverpool despite becoming a household name on Killing Eve – over the summer, the coronavirus pandemic has kept them apart a lot.

‘So it has been tricky,’ she admitted this weekend, while opening up on him having to self-quarantine for 14 days if he visits.

‘There’s a lot of FaceTiming. But it’s working! It’s good. It’s really good. It’s like with anything in life, if you want it enough you make it work.’
