A representative for the family confirmed to the magazine that ‘Mom and daughter are doing great’ before Joanna took to Instagram to share an update with her fans.

‘One of the most amazing emotional and hardest days of my life,’ she wrote. ‘Little baby girl Asha-Leigh Presley Nunes born on 11/02/19 at 550pm. All I can say is women are true warriors.’

In one image, Douglas kissed his crying baby girl on the forehead just minutes after she was born.  

The little girl reportedly weighted in at 6 lbs., 15 ounces, and measured a sturdy 20 inches long.

The former Real Housewives of Miami star posted a photo of her ‘last doctors visit’ on Saturday, displaying her proud baby bump one last time. 

‘Last doctors visit before we meet her,’ she captioned the snap with a heart and praying hands emoji.

She’s kept her 1.6million followers included on her pregnancy journey and regularly shared updates about her changing body.

In May, she broke the baby news to her legions of fans with a photo of a positive pregnancy test.

She told People earlier this year that she was ‘super scared of labor,’ but felt more at ease knowing her family would be there to support her. 

‘I know with my husband and my mom on my side, I will be fine,’ she said. ‘After all, millions of women [have given] birth so I think I will be fine, as I am a pretty tough cookie and it takes a lot to break me.’
