JETBLUE have been spotted asking passengers to “pick their favourite child” as one of the airline’s security questions for online accounts.
Social media users have found the question hilarious after it was shared on Twitter.
A Twitter user shared the picture showing: “What is the name of your favourite child” when making a security question.
He added the caption: “JetBlue savage for this.”
However, JetBlue responded: “Say It. You know you have one.”
The response garnered hilarious responses from social media users.
Many parents spoke out about the difficulty in choosing.
A man said: “I keep forgetting the answer, though, because I’m fickle about which is my favourite.”
Another person added: “It depends on the day.”
Others claimed they were the favourite child because of this.
One woman said; “I’m showing this to my dad. My name is incorporated in all of his passwords.”
Another said: “I don’t have kids but I know I’m my mom’s favourite haha.”
A JetBlue spokesperson explained that the question wasn’t what it seemed after all.
They told Sun Online Travel: “We love having fun with our customers on Twitter.
“The actual question is ‘What is the name of your favourite childhood friend?’
“In this tweet, the customer would have seen the complete question before selecting it. Based on the customer’s specific browser formatting, the question was cut off once selected.”
You should be careful when doing any online quizzes such as your favourite teacher growing up or naming your childhood best friend – as they could all be used to hack your accounts.
The answers given are common responses to security questions, leaving you open to cyber criminals.
JetBlue are set to launch cheap flights between London and New York by 2021.
A JetBlue flight was evacuated on the tarmac after an idiot passenger sent a picture of a suicide vest to every person’s phone on the plane.
