Jessika Power's bizarre encounter with The Bachelorette's Jamie Doran

Married At First Sight’s Jessika Power has spoken about a bizarre encounter she once had with eliminated Bachelorette star Jamie Doran.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia on Thursday, the 28-year-old explained that she and a girlfriend had met Jamie at a Melbourne shopping centre before his debut on the Channel 10 series. 

‘I was shopping with my girlfriend and we were just walking along…’ she began.

Jessika claimed that Jamie had followed her into a women’s clothing store, and was standing awkwardly behind a clothing rack for a period of time as she shopped.

At first she thought he was a ‘crazed fan’ wanting a photo, until he eventually came over and approached her for some advice about doing reality TV.

‘He started shaking and almost crying,’ Jessika said.

‘He was basically saying that he had been approached for a spot on MAFS or a spot on The Bachelorette, and [asked] where I thought he should go.’

She added: ‘I told him to go on The Bachelorette. Sorry, Angie Kent!’ 

Jessika went on to describe Jamie as a ‘strange individual’, saying that his portrayal on The Bachelorette was accurate. 

‘He was basically saying that he had been approached for a spot on MAFS or a spot on The Bachelorette, and [asked] where I thought he should go,’ she explained 

Angie Kent sent Jamie home on Thursday’s episode of The Bachelorette.

‘I thought I was gonna sweep her off her feet, hey,’ a disappointed Jamie said as he left the mansion in the back of a limo.

The Bachelorette continues on Channel 10 at 7:30pm on Wednesday.
