Jesse Lingard and Reiss Nelson among Premier League stars to jump on FaceApp trend

FaceApp has taken social media by storm with Premier League footballers among those uploading images of themselves looking old before their time.

The app was developed around two years ago by Russian company Wireless Lab.

But it received a recent update with a new and improved age filter, which has resulted in the app itself going viral.

Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard is among the Premier League stars who has had a go at turning himself into an old man.

The winger uploaded a picture of himself to social media sporting grey hair alongside the old man emoji.
