Jess Glynne has postponed her Bitts Park gig in Carlisle in order to recover from ‘vocal issues’.

The star appears to be making a habit of cancelling shows, and recently pulled out of this year’s Isle Of Wight festival with anxiety.

And it seems she has done it once again, as the 29-year-old announced her August date will be moving from the 4th to the 14th.

Taking to Twitter, the Hold My Hand hitmaker broke the news to her 397,000 followers.

‘Hi you lovely people,’ the star began in a statement: ‘Thank you for buying a ticket to my Bitts Park Concert on Sunday 4 August 2019.’

However, she soon revealed the bad news, adding: ‘As you know I’m recovering from some vocal issues and have been told I can only perform two shows in a row at this time.

‘I want to make sure I give you this best show possible, so with the lovely team in Carlisle working with me, I have decided to move this concert from Sunday 4 August to Saturday 14 September in order to throw “the summer blow out party to end all parties” and I wanna make sure you’re there, all the way with me!’

But it’s not all bad, as Jess continued to tell fans they’re allowed to bring a friend along, as a free plus one.

‘So as a thank you to YOU for hanging in there while I get better, your August ticket is still valid for the September 14th concert at Bitt parks,’ she beamed: ‘But I want you to bring a friend… on me!!’

The star continued: ‘I’m going to match your already purchased ticket with another ticket for free.

‘You’ve got one week to claim the free ticket, after that they’re back on sale, so please don’t miss out!’

Telling her followers what to do next, the singer added: ‘Go back to your point of purchase and, just for the Carlisle shoe, give them your proof of purchase and for every single ticket you’ve bought there’s another ticket for Carlisle sitting there for you to claim totally free.

‘If you can’t make the 14 September, the team at Darlington have agreed you can go to that show instead and they will honour all fully paid up tickets.

‘The show in Darlington is on Friday 02 August – your ticket is going to be valid for this show too.

‘You will of course be able to claim a full refund from your point of purchase if you can’t make either show.’

The Why Me songstress reiterated the fact that punters have one week to decide what they want to do.

‘You have one week until 9am on Monday 5 August to decide where and when you want to join me,’ she insisted: ‘Your ticket agent will be in touch with full information on what to do next.’

Jess concluded her post: ‘Looking forward to seeing you in Darlington on Friday 02 August, or in Carlisle on Saturday 14 September.

‘Thank you for being the best fans ever! Jess x.’
