JERSEY Shore’s Deena Nicole Cortese has apologized for a cruel “roast” during her bridesmaid’s speech at Angelina Pivarnick’s wedding.
The reality star, 32, spoke out after backlash from jokes and jabs she made that she insisted weren’t not intended to be negative.

Deena shared screenshots of some of the trolling she had received following her speech on Instagram, on Saturday.
The post, which has since been deleted, showcased some of the mean words spouted by her haters, TooFab reported.
They included: “I LITERALLY HOPE SOMEONE TELLS YOUR SON ON HIS WEDDING DAY HOW HES [sic] A TRASH BAG AND VOMIT.”
Another commented about Deena’s personal life and included a jibe about CJ, her 10-month-old son.
They wrote: “I feel sorry for son to be raised by a s***ty heartless person.”
“I hope your husband leaves you and takes your son to be raised by a real mother,” a third chimed-in.
We thought since Angelina always says ‘I never take myself seriously’ she would truly laugh at the stuff we said.

In Deena’s post, she accepted: “I understand your [sic] all upset about our speech.”
But went onto add: “We also included nice things in it as well”.
She wrote: “We thought since Angelina always says ‘I never take myself seriously’ she would truly laugh at the stuff we said.”
Angelina and Chris said “I do” at Château Estate & Gardens, in East Brunswick, New Jersey, on Wednesday.
Deena made her speech alongside Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jennifer “JWoww” Farley, where they were allegedly booed.
‘UPSET’ BRIDE
The words, which Deena thought were in good taste, reportedly “upset” Angelina, according to Too Fab sources.
Deena wrote: “Our speech was not meant to be malicious.
“I’m not a mean person and our intentions were never negative.
“Yes we had a ‘roast part’ which yes I understand no one agrees with.
“But [Chris’] one brother brought up his period shit tattoo.. so why is us making jokes during a speech a problem.”
‘THE DUMP TO OUR ISLAND’
While it’s currently unclear what was said by the trio, sources reported that they called Angelina “the dump to our island”.
It’s also claimed that she was called “the trash bag to our house,” a reference to a joke from seasons ago.
Too Fab were told that the bride was “upset and stormed off” and that the cast members involved are no longer talking.
The ceremony was also attended by Vinny Guadagnino, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Pauly D, ET Online reported.
All is due to be revealed in Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, which will air in 2020.
