JERSEY Shore star Pauly D has gatecrashed co-star Vinny Guadagnino’s book signing for his new Keto cookbook.
The MTV star, 39, mocked Vinny by turning up to the signing with protesters in Vegas on Wednesday night.
Vinny’s launch came to an unexpected halt after Pauly and others marched outside the bookshop holding signs and chanting.
The signs, which included photos of Vinny eating card-loaded dishes, read “Cheato Guido,” “My Carbs My Choice,” and “Ain’t Nothin Keto About This Guido.”
In one clip, the Jersey star taunted Vinny inside the shop, saying: “Keto lives don’t matter.”
Pauly also went on to deface posters of Vinny outside the shop using stickers of his face.
Italian Vinny, 31, has lost over 50 pounds after overhauling his lifestyle with the help of the keto diet.
The popular weight loss method involves eating lots of “good” fat, to curb hunger pangs, while cutting out carbs and eating moderate amounts of protein.
The reality star previously opened up about his weight loss journey on Instagram.
Comparing a before and after photo, he wrote: “LEFT-around 25 years old . Sluggish and unhealthy ..Eats lots of bread, pasta , sugar , fried food, vegetable oil, alcohol, very little fat , works out once and a while but doesn’t really have a healthy way of eating to give motivation and foundation for a healthy way of life.”
He continued: “31 years old … eats almost no sugar , pasta , or bread … eats REAL FOOD like natural fat , steak, butter, eggs, bacon, fatty cheese , shellfish etc .. nothing breaded and fried … and lots of veggies … has energy and motivation to workout everyday because the way of eating helps me always have a lean and solid foundation and motivates me to workout, intermittent fast, and build on that foundation.”
Jersey Shore ran from 2009 to 2012, but returned last year for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
